Dazz Cam for Android
It isn’t on Google Play. What is, and what to use instead.
Dazz Cam is not on Android. Dazz Cam - Vintage Camera, by DAZZ PTE. LTD., is an iPhone app, and on 5 November 2026 Google Play listed nothing by its developer. The Play apps that come up for “Dazz Cam” (Dazzil Cam, Dazzle Cam, Dazzix Cam, Dazzy Cam) are other developers’ apps with a similar name. To shoot the same way on Android, the most installed alternatives are OldRoll, ProCCD and Kapi Cam; for film looks without ads there is Clack, which this site is about.
01 · The app
Is Dazz Cam on Android?
No. Its App Store listing is for iPhone and iPad (iOS 16 or later), rated 4.8 (117,000 ratings) in the US. Searching Google Play for the name or the developer finds no app of theirs, and the listing does not mention Android.
What it does, by its own listing, is worth knowing before you look for a replacement:
- Cameras
- Retro film formats (135, 120, half-frame, instant, slide, toy, disposable) and digital ones (compact, CCD).
- Video
- 8mm, 16mm, VHS and camcorder looks.
- Controls
- Color temperature and tint, exposure compensation, ISO, shutter speed, focal length; timer, flash, double exposure, fisheye and prism lenses.
- Price
- Free, with Dazz Pro $6.99, or $19.99 once; single cameras $0.99–2.99.
Its own pitch is “no need for post-editing”: the look is chosen before the photo. That idea is what most people searching “Dazz Cam for Android” want.

The Dazz apps on Google Play
Search Play for Dazz Cam and you get apps with the name, or one a letter away, from other developers. Dazzil Cam, the most installed, describes itself as “OMO Roll”, “with the nostalgic feel you love from Dazzil Cam-style shooting”.

A Dazz Cam APK
Download sites offer APKs named Dazz Cam. With no Android app from the developer on Play, such a file is not from their Play listing, and Play has not reviewed it. Android asks before it installs an app from an unknown source, and Google Play Protect scans apps from outside Play, which is the reason.

Users like them for the same reason they like Dazz Cam: the collection. A 5-star review of Kapi Cam that 98 people marked helpful: “There’s a HUGE collection of FREE camera options … exactly what I want from these digicam simulator apps” (August 2026). Clack, a different kind of alternative
Clack is a film camera for Android. It is not a shelf of cameras: it has eight films and a digicam, each modeled on a real film’s published data, with the look live in the finder. Fourteen recipes come with it, each a film and a few settings named for when to use it (Golden Hour, Disposable, Streetlight, Y2K), and you can make your own. It shoots video with the film and its grain in every frame, saves the frame from the moment you pressed (no shutter lag), and has a selfie camera with the screen as its flash.
- What you pay
- Free to install, no ads, no account. The first seven days of shooting have everything; then the whole camera, video and one film of your choice stay free. Clack Pro adds every film, your own recipes, Edit and RAW: $24.99 once or $2.99 a month in the US, less in many countries.
- What it leaves out
- Light leaks, dust, date stamps, frames, instant-film borders, double exposure, fisheye lenses, and importing photos from your gallery (Edit remakes the photos Clack took). If those are what you loved in Dazz Cam, the apps above have them.
- How new it is
- On Google Play since 5 November 2026, so it has few ratings yet. It is tested mostly on the CMF Phone 2 Pro; how much of the film model runs depends on what your phone’s camera offers (the Camera2 API guide explains).
